An opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in McMinnville, OR. This contract position spans the current school year and involves working on-site, engaging directly with students to provide essential educational support tailored to their individual needs. Positions to fill include: 2 Elementary Resource Teachers providing Math, Reading, and Writing support 1 Middle School Developmental Classroom Teacher for students with low cognitive and basic skill levels 3 Elementary Developmental Teachers focusing on behavior and fundamental skills Key responsibilities for these roles include delivering specialized instruction, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff, monitoring student progress, and fostering a supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence. Qualifications and experience desired: Valid teaching credential in Special Education Previous experience working with K-12 students in special education settings Ability to effectively support students with diverse learning needs and behavioral challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills Recent supervisor reference required to be considered for the role This position requires a full-time onsite commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
