This opportunity is for Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in an Oregon City, OR school setting. These contract positions focus on providing essential educational support to diverse learners with a variety of developmental and academic needs. Available positions include: 2 Elementary Resource teachers, specializing in math, reading, and writing support 1 Middle School Developmental Classroom teacher, focusing on students with low cognitive and basic skill levels 3 Elementary Developmental teachers, working primarily with behavior challenges and foundational skills All roles require working onsite with students, ensuring hands-on instructional support tailored to individual learning goals. The contract timeline covers the current school year. Key qualifications and requirements: Demonstrated expertise in special education, specifically in elementary and/or middle school settings Experience supporting students with behavioral, cognitive, and academic challenges Strong classroom management and differentiation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families Recent supervisor reference with contact information is mandatory for consideration Availability for an in-person interview beginning the week of January 5 Responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering targeted instruction, monitoring student progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment that promotes growth and inclusion.
