This full-time Special Education Teacher position supports students from TK through 8th grade in a K-12 school located in Fremont, CA. The role offers a year-long contract starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 5, 2026. The teacher will manage a caseload of approximately 20 students and provide a comprehensive range of special education services. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the case manager for assigned students, coordinating individualized education programs (IEPs) and support services Provide Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) minutes tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with support providers to deliver cohesive educational plans Conduct and document IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Support students across a variety of academic and social-emotional needs within the TK-8 age range Qualifications: Valid California Education Specialist Credential required Experience working in special education settings preferred, especially with age groups TK-8 Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate effectively with families and staff Schedule and Details: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Contract duration: Immediate start through June 5, 2026 Location: Fremont, California Caseload: Approximately 20 students Benefits and Compensation: Competitive compensation package Weekly pay schedule Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Employer matching 401(k) plan Flexible spending account for healthcare and dependent care expenses Qualified candidates with the required credentials and commitment to supporting diverse learners are encouraged to apply for this valuable teaching opportunity.
