A school district in Overland Park, KS is seeking full-time paraprofessionals to support K-12 students across multiple locations. This contract position runs through the current school year and offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse student populations, including those with special needs. Openings include: Two paraprofessionals at an elementary site supporting Autism/STEPS programs with toileting assistance One Life Skills paraprofessional requiring toileting support at another elementary location One paraprofessional in a Specialized Learning Center (SLC) at a middle school One SLC paraprofessional and one Supplemental Aide 1:1 at a middle school Two paraprofessionals at a high school: one in SLC and one supporting medically fragile students One Life Skills/STEPS paraprofessional at a high school One paraprofessional supporting Collaborative/SLC services at a high school Key responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in providing educational and behavioral support to students Implement individualized support plans, including toileting and medical care as required Promote an inclusive learning environment tailored to each students needs Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with educators and staff Desired qualifications: Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education settings Ability to support students with Autism, Life Skills, and medically fragile conditions Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patience, flexibility, and commitment to student success This role offers meaningful work in a dynamic educational environment. Multiple full-time positions (37.5 hours per week) are available with immediate start dates through May 21, 2026.
