A dedicated paraprofessional is needed to support students across various K-12 school settings in Shawnee, KS. This contract position for the current school year offers opportunities to work in specialized roles including Autism/STEPS, Life Skills, Supplemental Aide, and Medically Fragile support within multiple school locations. Responsibilities: Assist students with diverse learning needs including Autism, Life Skills, and medically fragile conditions. Provide toileting support as required by specific assignments. Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Support classroom activities and contribute to a positive learning environment. Adapt to varying roles such as Supplemental Aide and secondary learning center (SLC) support. Qualifications: Experience or training as a paraprofessional preferred. Ability to assist with toileting is required for certain positions. Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to student development. Flexibility to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with varying responsibilities. Previous experience working with students requiring specialized support is a plus. Location: Shawnee, Kansas multiple schools including elementary, middle, and high school settings.
