A K-12 school in Forks, WA, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position spanning the 2023-2024 school year, from September 1 through June 15. This full-time role requires working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. The successful candidate will support a diverse caseload serving students aged PK through 22 years. The caseload fluctuates annually; last year involved testing approximately 68 students, and this years estimated testing is over 50 students, with transfer reviews and evaluation waivers handled collaboratively. The role encompasses all disability categories except communication-only disabilities. The position covers one campus consisting of three buildings. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, participating in transfer reviews and evaluation waivers, collaborating with school staff, and supporting student educational plans. Flexibility is offered with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement; however, in-person testing must be conducted on site. Preference is given to candidates who can maintain a consistent presence on campus. Key qualifications and experience for this position include: Valid school psychology credentials and experience in a K-12 setting Proficiency in conducting assessments across a broad age and disability range (PK-22) Ability to manage a caseload with varied and complex needs, including mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities Strong collaboration skills for working with educational teams on evaluation and review processes Flexibility to work on-site primarily, with potential hybrid scheduling options This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student development within a supportive environment.
