A K-12 school in Beaver, WA is seeking a qualified school psychologist for a contract position running from September 1 to June 15. This role offers a full-time schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional time for meetings as needed. The position supports a single campus composed of three buildings. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for a fluctuating caseload of students aged PK-22. Last year, approximately 68 students underwent testing; this year, the caseload is expected to involve testing about 50 students after January-March referrals. The caseload encompasses all disabilities except communication-only disorders. The psychologist will also handle transfer reviews and evaluation waivers, usually with input from psych staff as needed. Key qualifications and experience: Licensed school psychologist with expertise in K-12 educational environments Skilled in psychological evaluations across multiple disability types (excluding communication-only) Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50+ students throughout the school year Experience with transfer reviews and evaluation waivers is preferred Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, with a requirement for in-person testing; daily on-campus presence is ideal Benefits of this role include a supportive work environment with flexibility regarding work location, while ensuring that essential testing is conducted face-to-face to maintain assessment integrity.
