A full-time School Psychologist is needed for a K-12 public school setting located in Sinton, TX. This contractual position carries a caseload of approximately 98 students, including both general education and Autism Unit (AU) students. The role involves providing psychological services, assessments, and consultation support to meet the diverse needs of the student body throughout the contracted school year. Key Responsibilities: Manage a mixed caseload of general and AU students, conducting evaluations and developing appropriate support plans. Provide consultation services to teachers, parents, and administrators. Collaborate with other contractors managing counseling and therapy services. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 students across general education and special education populations. Familiarity with Autism spectrum disorder and related educational supports. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and consultative skills. Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Location: Position is based in Sinton, Texas, within a supportive K-12 school environment. Work Schedule: Full-time hours, approximately 35-40 hours per week. Contractual assignment for the current school year (CSY).
