Located in the Virginia Beach area, this position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist within an elementary school setting. The role is a contract assignment running from January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026, with guaranteed in-person work hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. This assignment is not open to hybrid or remote work arrangements. Responsibilities: Administer psychological assessments to students at the elementary level. Participate in and contribute to Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, reevaluations, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being. Maintain records and documentation in compliance with district and state policies. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist. Active Department of Education (DOE) certification. Willingness to work full time or part time, with caseloads varying based on assignment. Open to new graduates as well as experienced professionals. Prior school experience preferred but not mandatory for new graduates. The school day is structured from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing a consistent daily routine. Caseload specifics are currently under review but will focus exclusively on elementary-aged students.
