Occupational Therapist - K-12 Schools (Aurora, IL) This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services within K-12 educational settings. The role involves delivering direct support to students across various classrooms, including collaboration with member district programs. Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support students in both specialized classrooms and general district environments to enhance their participation and learning outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with certification to practice in educational settings. Experience working within school systems, preferably with K-12 students. Strong understanding of special education laws and ability to develop individualized therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with educators and families. Location: Aurora, Illinois serving multiple member districts through the cooperative program. Employment Details: Contract position for the current school year (CSY). Combination of services in specialized classrooms and district-wide programs.
