About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission-driven organization. The CFO will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of the organization, with a focus on supporting children and families affected by birth-related neurological injuries. This role is pivotal in ensuring fiscal stability, compliance with financial regulations, and the development of long-term financial strategies that align with the organization's goals.

Key responsibilities for the CFO include providing expert financial insight to the Executive Director and Board of Directors, overseeing all financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies, and maintaining robust internal controls. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading and developing the finance team, as well as managing relationships with external partners. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a Master's or CPA, and a minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and investment strategies, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
