Base Pay Range: $65,000.00 per year – $80,000.00 per year
Position Summary: Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tour-to-Teach, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology and business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs. Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved through action plan development and process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit-loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities, develops relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and builds accountability. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics. Builds high‑performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters an inclusive workplace. Acts with integrity, serves customers and members first, balances short‑and‑long‑term priorities, and promotes continuous improvement and technology adoption.

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific criminal background check (CBC) and firearms authorized training is required. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued certificate of eligibility is required. Associates will be required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent, certificate in People and Business Leadership, and 5 or more direct reports with experience in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
