Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introducing and leading change efforts; providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions; and communicating business objectives effectively.

Models exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; managing and supporting customer‑service initiatives; ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved; developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies; and providing process‑improvement leadership for a high‑quality customer experience.

Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements; managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing performance, recruiting and developing qualified associates, and ensuring diversity awareness.

Coordinates and oversees job‑related activities, builds accountability, measures progress, addresses improvement opportunities, and promotes continuous learning.

Ensures compliance with company policies, supports company mission, values, and ethics, implements action plans, and utilizes the Open Door Policy.

State Pay Differential: Additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

For firearms‑selling facilities: completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition‑selling facilities: current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. All associates must attend and complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, certificates from Live Better U and Bellevue University, general supervisory experience with at least 5 direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
