The role centers on inspiring young learners to feel engaged, confident, and motivated—without the burden of managing lesson plans or grading. Novatio School is transforming the student support model with an AI‑driven curriculum that delivers core academic instruction in two concentrated morning hours. In the afternoon, students participate in live, interactive workshops designed for exploration, creativity, and personal development.
Base pay range $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr
You’ll maintain momentum and ensure seamless operations, guiding students through transitions, fostering participation in small‑group settings, and stepping in with encouragement when challenges arise. Content delivery isn’t your responsibility, but your presence will be critical to the success of every session.
Responsibilities
Facilitating live virtual workshop sessions by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and supporting group‐based activities
Encouraging student involvement through real‑time chat engagement, recognition, and one‑on‑one check‑ins
Maintaining student focus, confidence, and connection throughout their afternoon learning sessions
Supporting lead educators with operational tasks that ensure smooth and efficient workshop delivery
Serving as a consistent, culturally aware presence across both bilingual learning tracks and extracurricular clubs
What You Won’t Be Doing
Delivering academic instruction or teaching subject‑matter content
Developing lesson plans or evaluating student work
Building curriculum or leading workshops independently
Observing passively—this role demands active involvement and sustained energy
Basic Requirements
Willing to work 8 am – 5 pm M‑Filege US Mountain Time (UTC‑7)
At least 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth
Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K‑16) – must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
Strong communication skills and high comfort with digital platforms
Energizing, student‑first presence with an eye for details and smooth transitions
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
Experience with online learning tools or youth enrichment programs
Background in after‑school programs, summer camps, or club leadership
Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with C
