Overview Seven Hills Community Services, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation.
Pay $20.50/hr for awake hours (additional $1/hr differential for active MAP certification).
Position Summary This role provides direct support or services with a higher level of skill or experience, contributing to our service recipients' care and support while maintaining quality, service excellence and ethical standards. The role may train or supervise direct support employees and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans that align with each person's goals and needs. Responsibilities
Support individuals in making independent decisions and participating in valued community roles.
Teach and assist with daily living skills, personal care, and household tasks.
Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and accurately document progress.
Administer medications or support individuals in self‑medication (MAP certification required).
Advocate for individuals and actively support the achievement of their personal goals.
Foster relationships with families, guardians, and community members.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the residence.
Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community events using a van or wheelchair‑accessible van.
Actively participate in and support individuals at community events.
Education & Experience
High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
1‑3 years of related experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed).
Skills and Knowledge
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Compassionate and patient approach to care.
Commitment to fostering inclusion and independence.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance), and remain alert during shifts.
