Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, PRN – As needed.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Harris Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast. As an RN joining our team, you will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns in a 14‑bed Women’s Services Unit featuring a Level 2B nursery with 6 beds and an 8‑bed L&D/Mother‑Baby unit.
More About Our Team The unit averages 50 deliveries per month and has a below‑average C‑section rate. It offers a supportive environment that promotes positive birthing experiences while ensuring the health and well‑being of mothers and infants alike. You will also have the opportunity to cross‑train ölüm in each area of this department and utilize a self‑scheduling application.
How You’ll Contribute
Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
One year of745n experience preferred
Requires critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
