RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RCP) (MAIN)
position is located at
Corona Regional Medical Center
in Corona, California. This full‑time role supports acute care and rehabilitation services for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive respiratory therapy assessments, including diagnostic evaluation with arterial blood gas (ABG) and laboratory procedures.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and subacute respiratory issues.
Provide consultation, instruction, and technical direction to physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
Perform and supervise limited cardiology diagnostic procedures.
Manage and monitor ventilatory support, including mechanical ventilation and non‑invasive modalities.
Document and report patient status and interventions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and ongoing credential maintenance.
California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license – current and active.
Board‑certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Additional certifications: PALS, NRP (90 days), ABM (90 days).
Experience with ABG labs, ventilator management, and subacute care settings preferred.
Pay Range $32.89 per hour – $49.33 per hour (based on skills and experience).
