Compensation Analyst – MCS Puerto Rico
General Description Responsible for providing expert guidance and operational support in all aspects of compensation management. This role involves researching job requirements, evaluating positions, and ensuring market competitiveness by collecting, analyzing, and maintaining accurate compensation data.
Essential Functions
Analyze compensation data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies; prepare and present summary reports that support decision-making.
Conduct market research and participate in compensation surveys to ensure competitive pay practices; benchmark jobs against survey data to determine appropriate ranges.
Participate in salary review processes by providing data and analysis for adjustments and promotions; assess job classifications and salary ranges.
Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions, ensuring they reflect actual duties and responsibilities across the organization.
Gather and organize compensation data, including salary surveys and internal information; interview employees and managers to document job details.
Generate regular reports and maintain compensation data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and supporting organizational charts and updates.
Additional Functions
Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws as well as with the regulations applicable to our industry, to maintain appropriate business and employment practices.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.
Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in compensation program administration, including salary structures, job analysis and evaluation, job description development, incentive plan design, and market analysis through salary surveys.
Certifications / Licenses : N/A
Other : Proficient in Excel. Must be able to comfortably format and analyze spreadsheets as well as create basic PowerPoint presentations.
Languages :
Spanish – Advanced (comprehensive, writing, and verbal)
English – Intermediate (comprehensive, writing, and verbal)
