Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Civil Engineers to join them on a Data Centre project in Helsinki.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Oversee the execution of all civil and structural works on-site, including groundworks, foundations, drainage, and external works, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans, identifying any discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with design teams and contractors.

Monitor progress of civil works against program milestones, ensuring works are delivered on time and aligned with the overall construction schedule.

Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of civil works and structural installations.

Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets industry standards, project requirements, and health & safety regulations.

Manage civil engineering documentation, including method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), red-line drawings, and as-built records for project close-out.

Provide technical support during problem-solving on-site, particularly around earthworks, utilities coordination, stormwater systems, and structural interfaces.

Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and utility providers to ensure all permitting, compliance, and inspection requirements are met throughout the construction phase.

You Will Need:

Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Experience working on large construction or data centre projects.

Strong knowledge of Civil engineering systems, codes, and standards.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

An EU passport is not required but may be beneficial.
