This job is typically 8‑weeks in length. This role focuses on the provision of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN effectively delegateslyk, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward achieving unit and department strategic goals; and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for their own practice while supporting the company’s philosophy of nursing.

Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Work Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required – 1 Year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications Required – Current RN License in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred – Certification in clinical specialty area.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Demonstrated good judgement.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Job Duties
Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respecting privacy, introducing patients, explaining services or procedures, requesting permissions, and tailoring communication style.
Effectively uses the Nursing Process in delivery of patient care.
Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient and family Hosts.
Utilizes data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improve the profession of nursing.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
