Overview Average hourly rate: $14.00 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). This position is an on‑call position. Shifts available: Friday – Sunday.
A Day in the Life as a Crisis Support Worker As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. You are allowed a maximum of 30 hours a week. The shift begins at 5pm. However, your schedule is flexible, and you can pick the days that best work for you. Support workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We provide a company car, cell phone and computer.
What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is compassionate, eager to learn, and who wants to help children in times of crisis. You can communicate clearly and effectively, desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills, and a strong desire to advocate for children. This position is great for those looking for a part‑time job and who want experience in the child welfare field.
Requirements High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred.
