About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Utility professional to join our Operations team. In this full-time, hourly position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen. As part of our team, you will contribute to smooth operations, helping us deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards of sanitation and safety.
What You'll Do
Ensure cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, equipment, and surfaces.
Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
Assist kitchen staff by stocking and organizing supplies, including inventory checks and replenishment of necessary items.
Dispose of garbage and maintain proper waste management practices in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients, as needed.
Maintain strict adherence to sanitation and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow during busy service periods.
Perform thorough end-of-day cleaning and preparation to set up the kitchen for the following day’s operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen utility, dishwashing, or food service support role is a plus.
Strong understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with frequently changing priorities.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle tasks efficiently.
Strong team player with effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work at all times.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in English for effective communication and understanding of instructions.
