This PRN position offers the flexibility to create your own schedule by accepting the number of set‑ups you would like to complete each week. Compensation is based on set‑up, ranging from $5.00 to $100.00 per service.

Overview and Responsibilities We are seeking qualified

Respiratory Therapists (RRT / CRT / RN)

to educate, train, and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen and other respiratory equipment. The model of care ensures patients receive quality care specific to their individual needs.

Maintain a complete listing of all current respiratory patients.

Provide initial and ongoing phone contacts with patients per Rotech policy.

Conduct in‑home visits per Rotech policy.

Perform patient assessment per order, including verbal, physical, and diagnostic components.

Provide patient education on equipment use, physician prescriptions, compliance, benefits, and potential side effects.

Set up and adjust highly technical respiratory equipment: invasive and non‑invasive ventilators, infant monitors, cough assist, negative pressure ventilation, IPPB, etc.

Monitor equipment function and document all services per Rotech procedures.

Assume on‑call responsibilities during non‑business hours.

Support orientation and training of other personnel as directed by the Area Manager.

Perform additional duties as required by state licensure law and area manager instructions.

Qualifications Employment is contingent on a background check, drug screen, healthcare facility credentialing (when applicable), and a valid driver’s license in the state of residence (when applicable).

High school diploma or GED; preferred credentials as an RRT or CRT.

Must be licensed in the primary state of home office and provide a copy of the license.

May be required to obtain license in neighboring states based on service area.

Preferred Experience

Accredited program/degree in respiratory care.

Home respiratory care experience.

One year of related work experience.

Skills and Competencies

Physical Demands

Lift and carry office equipment as needed.

Examine small print and handle patient equipment.

Potential exposure to contagious pathogens.

Occasional lifting and transporting of patient equipment.

Compliance with Rotech Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy.
