Responsibilities
Abides by and supports 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that meet their expectations, displaying a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided.
Manages assigned cases and assists the office with achieving positive patient outcomes, strategic plan and budget.
Conducts a complete assessment of the patient to identify appropriate care needs.
Documents in the medical record electronically and downloads daily.
Completes OASIS at specific points in time (e.g., admission, resumption of care, recertification) and provides regular supervision to Licensed Practical Nurses and paraprofessionals per regulatory guidelines.
Maintains regular communication with supervisor, communicating patient problems on a timely basis following the chain of command.
Ensures that 3HC can bill for services appropriately.
Demonstrates a willingness to be cost effective in the use of agency resources, monitors waste, and uses supplies and equipment safely and properly.
Requirements
Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of North Carolina.
Minimum of one‑year experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting preferred.
Prefer a minimum of one‑year Home Health experience.
Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
