Position Description
Warehouse Shipping Clerk – Permanent Full Time – Hagerstown, Maryland. Ryder is hiring Shipping/Receiving Clerks to support distribution across the United States. The position offers weekly payroll and competitive hourly pay of $23.45 per hour. Schedules are available on first shift, Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Flexibility to operate and self‑driven in a fast‑paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Multi‑task, highly organized with excellent time‑management skills
Work independently and as part of a team
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Intermediate PC skills in MS Office
Intermediate knowledge of SAP and WMS
Safety Sensitive Position – may require equipment operation and certification depending on location
Responsibilities
Check truck drivers in and out
Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according to warehouse direction and vendor assignment
Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation and partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
Update required reports in a timely manner
Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
Perform other duties as assigned
