Role Accountabilities

Operate heavy equipment to support the construction of exploration drill pad sites

Operate heavy equipment to support the construction of various Pentecistry around the site

Operate heavy equipment such as track dozer, water trucks, haul trucks, backhoe, telehandler, skid steer

Understand changes to assigned work areas and identify potential hazards

Understand equipment components and practices that reduce component damage and wear

Perform minor maintenance activities

Build and maintain new and existing exploration drill pads throughout the site

Work on various small earthwork projects around the site

Collaborate with the training department to help train new operators

Assist with various other projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications And Education

High School diploma or GED

Three years of experience in the mining industry

Two years of experience operating heavy machinery building roads, pads and earthwork projects

Ability to achieve Caterpillar certification for operating a backhoe, water truck, and tractor

Ability to operate heavy equipment

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Strong work ethic

Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions – temperatures may exceed 100°F

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Able to move over uneven terrain

Ability to work up to a 12‑hour shift

Maintain a drug‑ and alcohol‑free workplace

Have reliable personal transportation to the site location (site transportation will be in company vehicles)

Possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

Current MSHA certification

Current Caterpillar certifications
