Summary A specialized cardiac sonographer who independently performs echocardiograms on a professional level, including geop‑ TTE echo, TEE echo, stress echo, 3D, Doppler color Doppler and strain imaging in in‑patient (IP), outpatient (OP), and off‑site settings. The results of these exams directly impact the course of patient care.
Qualifications
Formal baz is required: Completion of a sonography program from an accredited school, one year of full‑time cardiac echocardiography experience, or completion of an approved Echo trainee program or Summa Sonographer intern requirements.
Experience & Training Required: Registered in any of the following fields – RVS, RVT, RDMS, RCS, or RDCS.
Basic Life Support certification.
Completion of an approved echo sonography program.
Weekend position: Three (3) years of experience with stress testing.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to make independent clinical assessments and judgments.
Quickly resolve scanning, technical, and patient‑care issues with limited supervision.
Collaborate and communicate with physicians and other allied health professionals.
Interact respectfully with personnel, physicians, patients, family members, customers, and visitors.
Provide high‑quality, professional echocardi 꽤 examinations routinely.
Calibrate and operate equipment.
Lift and transport patients and equipment.
