Exciting full‑time Physician Assistant opportunity in Milledgeville, GA! MainStreet Family Care is growing and we’re looking for a fast, fun, and friendly PA to join our team full time. You’ll provide patient‑focused care to help our patients feel better fast, and you’ll work in a busy urgent‑care environment anaynd competitive compensation package.
New graduates are especially encouraged to apply—if you haven’t taken boards yet, that’s fine. We will give you on‑site orientation and training, followed by hands‑on shifts shadowing experienced providers. We also offer a complimentary pediatric urgent‑care course and a provider on‑call to support your clinical decision‑making.

You will handle everything from babies to geriatric patients, ensuring every patient receives appropriate care within the scope of your program and experience.

You will direct a small team of medical assistants, guiding them with established treatment protocols while staying the medical provider responsible for all patient care.
Support rural communities.
MainStreet clinics operate 362 days a year to provide continuous access to care. Many of our locations qualify for tuition or student‑loan reimbursement grants, and we assist you throughout the application process.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
Suturing and splinting as needed
General orthopedic evaluation and management
Review x‑rays (with radiologist review)
Provide general dermatology and eye problem care

Emergency management
General gynecological expertise Treat children of all ages
Occupational medicine
Telemedicine care
Schedule Clinic hours (extended, 7 days a week):
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
forging rotating schedule – every other weekend (sample below):
Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON)
Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF)
Qualifications
Physician Assistant Board Certification required
MSN or higher education required (newgraduate‑friendly)
DOT certification required or willingness to become certified (cost covered)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
