Job Summary The Judicial Branch is a state‑funded Branch of Government that offers medical/dental/vision benefits, $20,000 free basic life insurance, a state‑matched 156% retirement plan, 13 paid holidays, earned paid vacation and sick leave, and more. This classification level works under general supervision and is responsible for spending a majority of time in the courtroom and providing courtroom‑related work such as capturing and recording verbatim proceedings of court and maintaining case information during and after proceedings.
Responsibilities
Monitor ongoing case files, including identifying appropriate forms, monitoring case status, issuing and processing warrants and civil suspensions, tracking and maintaining files, and other related activities.
Process and prepare casework for court sessions; notate court actions on applicable documents and forms; and other related activities.
Maintain court calendar; schedule interpreters, transportation, prosecutors, defense counsel, and/or events.
Perform routine administrative support duties, including scheduling court hearing meetings, labeling exhibits, preparing journal entries, and other standard documents for court sessions.
Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, and 2 years of courtroom clerk experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential duties.
All educational credits must be from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

Salary Hiring Rate: $36,435.31 per year
Minimum Rate: $37,346.15 per year
