Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The continuum of care includes prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All programs are trauma‑informed and evidence‑based, building resilience in clients (ages 0‑18) and families, both virtually and in person. What You Will Do

Provide supervision, support, guidance, and build therapeutic relationships with youth.

Engage with youth, provide direction and structure, support their physical and physiological needs, schedule and participate in activities, ensure environments remain clean and safe, complete daily documentation, and transport clients as needed.

Travel to various residential facilities within the Nashville area as required.

Work a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule: 7 am‑7 pm or 7 pm‑7 am, with weeks alternating according to the following pattern: Week 1 – Monday, Thursday, Friday; Week 2 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour (starting); $19.50 - $22.50 per hour stated later in posting.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and meet all credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards for the program.

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

At least one year of residential youth or adult operation experience, or related child and family services experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Full‑time schedule: 1st or 2nd shift as listed.
