Base Pay Range $69,400.00/yr – $104,100.00/yr
About This Role A Production Planner will develop and manage the execution of the production schedule as a result of line‑of‑balance output, taking into consideration available capacity, material availability and program delivery commitments. The role communicates to leadership and program managers the manufacturing status, expected completion dates and production risk analysis based on internal and external supply.
Responsibilities
Partner with procurement, production manager, quality, engineering, and program management to proactively plan, schedule and manage development, production, and aftermarket support environments.
Own the execution of items associated with the planner code: release internal jobs, manage factory releases, purchase requisitions, and address disruptions in the internal factory.
Advise on status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems to ensure timely availability of personnel, equipment, materials and services.
Maintain internal and external supply‑chain alignment, resolve constraints, maintain line of balance (build‑through) and purchase requests based on the master production schedule.
Interface with internal customers as part of product integrated product teams (IPT).
Assist management in developing and executing plans for assigned products to maximize scheduled on‑time completion.
Manage manual demand releases, facilitate change order and coordinate production cut‑ins; review excess material for consumption in other jobs.
Respond to ad hoc requests from management and other departments with timely and accurate analysis and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of moderately professionally related experience preferred.
1‑3 years MRP experience and CPIM certification preferred.
Self‑starter with ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Excellent communication, facilitation and networking skills.
Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent partnering and team‑building skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and prior MRP software experience.
PowerPoint, MS Projects, EMatrix, Oracle ERP Software, PowerBI experience preferred.
