Base pay range $70,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr
Position Summary This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment. The individual must be able to communicate effectively and work in an integrated manner with other members of the department to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in adherence to business management policies and procedures, including posting journal entries, account reconciliations, budgeting, cash management, workers’ comp audits, etc.
Prepare and present financial analysis, long‑term cash flow analysis, and P&L reporting solutions.
Monitor insurance renewals and kasar claims for both institutional and individual clients.
Deliver weekly client communications (cash reports, weekly updates).
Assist in the review and summarization of all client agreements.
Create, review, and approve budgets, shareholder payroll, and 1099 reports.
Assist in the oversight and execution of assigned new client onboarding procedures.
Work directly with management in recording and_even assessing estate planning, asset purchases, and investments.
Review cash management to monitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit score issues.
Review the work and accuracy of Staff Accountants (AP/AR, cash receipts, payroll, etc.).
Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate commissions, calculations, and payments.
Assist in ad‑hoc projects as needed.
Assist in payroll services and oversight of associated journal entries.
Maintain a log of all filings and reported information, providing accountability for accuracy and timeliness.
Proactively foster and develop professional relationships with clients’ trusted advisors when discussing open matters.
Qualify annual financial statements for tax return purposes.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience using QuickBooks and Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization.
Extremely detail‑oriented to create accurate and timely reports.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and fit with the company’s culture and values.
Qualifications
Ability to reliably commute and report to the Tri Star office.
5+ years of accounting experience within a public accounting firm and/or the entertainment industry OR 5+ years of bookkeeping experience for high net‑worth individuals.
BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Music Business with a strong academic.root
CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred.
