Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Automation Resource Planner to join our team.

Automation Resource Planner Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Regional Service Manager and Service Coordinator teams to actively manage Field Service Engineer team schedule including resource allocation and assignment

Partner with Regional Service Managers to ensure assignments are assigned equitably and stretch assignments are provided

Partner Field Service Engineering resources on field assignments with our less experienced Engineering resources as training opportunities

Assign workload across multiple teams while maintaining our On-Time Delivery Service Level

Communicate with customers, Service Coordinators and Project Managers to confirm assigned -engineering resource and tentative schedule/plan

Maintain accuracy of field service engagement calendar

Support Quality Assessment on schedules

Ensure consistency of the service engagement and trip report delivery

Keeping stakeholders & management informed of engagement timelines and deadlines.

Monitor Service Report and ensure completeness including electronic copy of customer signature

Track and report on Field Service Engineer utilization KPI and balance Team utilization

Ability to prioritize engagements based on input from peers and customers

Develop and improve processes, as required, to support creation of an accurate Master Schedule, including capacity and demand planning

Requirements

Automation Resource Planner Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors or Associate degree preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience with high volume scheduling/project management administration

Experience in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM preferred

experience in structure of a maintenance/services organization with implementation of maintenance/services planning tools

Professional certifications from recognized organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) preferred

Automation Resource Planner Additional Requirements:

Ability to effectively and professionally work under pressure, in a team-oriented environment, with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicated with a range of customers at varying levels of technical expertise

Ability to work with diverse teams and skill sets to achieve greater levels of efficiency

Excellent team player who demonstrates leadership abilities

Ability to create and drive process improvement and influence teams to adopt new practices

Ability to work with and inspire others

Highly organized and able to manage multiple engagements at once

Capacity to participate in a dynamic, technical and customer oriented culture

Desire for continual training and education

Travel to customer facilities as needed

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Automation Resource Planner Physical Requirements:

Ability to work extended hours on a computer

Automation Resource Planner Pay:

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000

Potential Bonus: 5%

The final offer will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in the position.
