Position Summary Teach political science courses day and evening classes as a part‑time adjunct faculty member. Pay is per‑credit‑hour and is determined by assigned rank and discipline.
Work Schedule Varies depending on class schedules and school needs. Day and evening classes. Telework options may change based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate political science courses on campus.
Develop and deliver course material, assessments, and lectures.
Assist with online synchronous classes utilizing Canvas and Zoom.
Support students from diverse backgrounds and promote student‑centered learning.
May perform other duties as assigned, including assistance to agency or state government during emergencies.
Travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites may be required.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in political science or related field; or Master’s with 18 graduate semester hours in political science.
Community college teaching experience.
Experience with online teaching, including online synchronous classes.
Familiarity with Canvas and Zoom.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience providing an innovative e‑learning experience.
Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
