Work Schedule This is a hybrid 7-week course meeting one evening per week (6:00 pm – 9:05 pm).
Position Overview Reynolds Architectural and Engineering Technology program at Reynolds Community College is seeking a teaching faculty adjunct instructor to teach our Principles of Residential Building Construction Inspections. This course is part of our Building Construction Management AAS degree. It is a 2021 USBC code focused course introducing students to the criteria and procedures of residential building inspections.
Application Requirements For full consideration, the cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae, and unofficial transcripts must be received with the online application submission.
Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in a related field, plus 4 years work experience in plans review and inspections for a local jurisdiction.
ICC certification as a Residential Building Inspector is required and a Master Code Professional (MCP) certification is preferred.
Additional Considerations
Master Code Professional (MCP) certification is preferred.
Occupational experience in the field.
Experience with Learning Management System or other online course management tools is a plus. Training will be provided.
College level teaching experience.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
Travel Travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites may be needed.
