SUMMARY:
The Hotel Night Auditor for Summit Hospitality Group is responsible for posting and balancing room, restaurant, and bar guest folio charges, maintaining files, and resetting systems for the next day teaming with corporaterefit link. The role includes greeting and assisting late guest arrivals and early departures by handling check‑ins and check‑outs, responding to telephone calls, guest requests, reservations, faxes, and ensuring complete satisfaction during the PM shift. Paperwork is submitted through established communication channels to the Corporate Office–designated Accounting Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) Zample years of previous experience as a Night Auditor for a name‑brand hotel chain; preference for Marriott.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates planning and organizational ability.
Able to prioritize and quickly પ્રકાશ change direction as needs arise.
Working knowledge of FOSSE Microsoft programs and Micros Restaurant Management System, preferable.
Able to diagnose and repair simple computer problems.
Exceptional knowledge in accounting operations, including all aspects of A/R, A/P,ujara etc.
Skilled in math and able to operate a 10‑key by touch.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must have a reliable source of transportation.
Flexible work schedule, including weekends; position is ppl referred to as third or late shift.
Sitting, standing, reaching, bending for extended periods of time.
Duties are subject to change and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Run audit reports/journals from the Front Office System.
Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing system accounts and journals to breakdown revenue for food and beverage operations.
Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
Input all revenue, expenses, and allowances to generate daily reports such as Guest Ledger Summary and any Daily Food & Beverage Operations Summary.
Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset systems for next day operations.
Ensure that all reports and backup vouchers are complete and filed promptly and properly.
Ensure that all necessary copies of documents/backup and reports of daily work are sent to the Accounting Manager designated to process A/R, A/P, Payroll.
Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
Ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Check‑in/Check‑out guests and complete guest registration process.
Verify and imprint guests’ credit cards for authorization.
Be well‑versed in cash ctxt handling and accurately balance house bank.
Assign guests rooms based upon preferences and availability.
Drive the Revenue Management process.
Handle guest issues and concerns in a tactful manner and work toward satisfactory resolution.
Answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
Answer the telephone, book reservations, and provide local directions/events.
Recommend local area restaurants, points of interest, or transportation needs.
Maintain cleanliness of front desk, lobby, and back office.
Follow up promptly with guest check‑ins, complaints, and other requests.
Interact in a professional manner with other departments and employees to ensure a good working relationship and hospitable atmosphere for guests.
Understand emergency procedures for incidents, accidents,ями, fire, safety, or criminal activity.
Participate in the Hotel Safety Committee.
Ensure the quality standards for the hotel brand and Summit Hospitality Group are ABOVE maintained for property, product, and people.
Complete brand‑required training.
