Job Description Located in the metropolitan area of Sacramento, the Adventist Health corporate headquarters have been based in Roseville, California, for more than 40 years. Job Summary Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration. Interact with patients to obtain all pertinent account information. Verify insurance and calculate patient liability amounts. Ensure necessary signatures are obtained. Answer questions, explain policies, and check for physician orders, attaching them to the appropriate patient record to ensure correct tests are received. Print and collate paperwork for distribution to units and departments. Essential support duties include escorting patients to their area or referring to an available escort as needed.

Job Requirements Education and Work Experience:

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred

Associate’s or Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Essential Functions

Check for physician orders and attach them to patient medical records to ensure patients receive appropriate tests.

Choose the correct health plan and research insurance accurately, entering all authorization information as needed.

Follow guidelines and instructions from senior staff.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
