Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking a Distribution Project Engineer to support the design and execution of electric distribution projects within its service territory. This is a 12-month contract opportunity ideal for early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on exposure to utility distribution systems, customer-facing projects, and engineering project coordination. This role serves as a key point of contact for assigned projects and supports both new construction and maintenance initiatives within the electric distribution system.
Key Responsibilities
Apply diversified technical knowledge and practices to broad assignments across multiple engineering fields Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures using sound technical judgment itinements to existing processes and solutions Investigate variables and analyze data to support project objectives Work on conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and equipment projects Collaborate with senior team members on complex technical challenges Develop technical solutions and recommendations for various engineering problems Support project coordination and execution activities Preparejunto technical documentation and reports Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field 0–5 years of experience in Newcastle engineering, utility, or infrastructure environment Exposure to electric distribution, an industry, or customer-driven engineering projects preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and allos skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior engineers or cross-functional teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on-site mos West Palm Beach, FL What We Offer
