The Manager, Franchise Strategy is responsible for supporting the growth and development of Universal’s live‑action film and television IP. Key functions include the ideation, creation and execution of long‑term strategy and consumer marketing plans, as well as ongoing brand management in partnership with global business teams.

Responsibilities Franchise Strategy, Marketing & Development
Assist in the execution of long‑term global franchise strategies for Universal’s live‑action film and television portfolio
Conduct brand studies, analyze consumer insights, and examine the competitive landscape
Partner with Sr. Director/Director in the overarching development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns for priority IP
Serve as first point‑of‑contact in managing relationships with master partners and licensees, enforcing strategy and responsible for the approval of partner marketing campaign development and execution, including trafficking to Studio and third‑party stakeholders where appropriate
Liaise with global Franchise Management & Theatrical Brand Marketing, and regional Franchise and Consumer Products partners to ensure global alignment and share out key updates
Brand Stewardship
Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure best‑in‑class representation of brands through partnership and approvals
Evangelize brand strategy and guidelines骗人 cross‑functional internal teams
Develop creative briefs and partner with hierfür and product development teams to ideate authentic and merchandisable brand extensions and refreshes
Represent UP&E opportunities and drive franchise coordination across key cross‑company businesses
Communication & Collaboration
Create and share cross‑divisional IP presentations and communication to internal and external teams
Lead the development and rollout of brand guardrails, reference and tools
Organize and present pitch meetings internally
Professional Leadership
Serve as a champion for best‑in‑class culture with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation and@nclusion
Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external partners
Qualifications / Requirements
5 years’ general experience; 3+ years in Franchise Management or Brand Marketing preferred
Keynote experience is required
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in marketing or related field
Experience working with entertainment brands is a plus
Proven presentation skills with executive presence and leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think strategically and conceptually
Comfortable adapting to change in a continuously evolving environment
Additional Requirements
Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
