Serve as Assistant Coach of Division 1 Men’s Soccer program. This position will assist in the overseeing and managing all aspects of the Men’s Soccer program. This includes promoting the philosophy and objectives of the North Carolina State intercollegiate athletics program.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Embrace the Athletics Department’s strategic plan and execute it with unmitigated resolve, while being compliant with all NCAA and ACC rules.

Assist with the scouting and recruitment of student‑athletes, to include assisting with on‑campus visits of prospective student‑athletes.

Assist in coaching student‑athletes; evaluate their performance in practice and competition.

Monitor the conditioning and training of student‑athletes.

Assist in monitoring the academic progress and eligibility status of student‑athletes.

Maintain statistics; interfaces with officials.

Participates in public relations activities, as approved.

Assist with budget preparations and operates within approved budget allocations.

Handle travel arrangements as assigned.

Participate in clinics, exhibitions and camps, as approved.

Attend appropriate coaches meetings.

Promote the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program.

Other Responsibilities

Performs other duties and assists with special projects as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletics Administration.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required

Minimum of two years of collegiate soccer coaching experience

Other Required Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Thorough knowledge of NCAA bylaws

Dedication to the success of student‑athletes in their academic and athletic endeavors

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Division 1 Soccer team.

Required License(s) or Certification(s) Valid NC Driver’s License required. Commercial Driver’s License required.
