Job Skills / Requirements
Perform unarmed security duties depending on the post.
Patrol and monitor exterior and community areas on‑premises.
Control access to entrances and exits and ensure safe departure of employees and visitors.
Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful activities.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.
Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents.
Use provided communication devices (e.g., two‑way radios) clearly and concisely.
Perform CPR or first aid when needed.
Maintain credentials per contract requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S.
Associate’s Degree
Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an unarmed security officer.
Current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/permit.
Knowledgeable of the security industry.
Customer‑service‑driven mindset.
Effective communication skills and ability to present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.
