Tritium
This position is responsible for all Manufacturing Operations within the facility, as well as ensuring all associated quality, productivity and safety targets are met. The role requires a expert of the manufacturing business, someone who can apply an analytical approach to managing and improving the Manufacturing operations at Tritium. The incumbent will need to be both reactive and proactive, working with and influencing various stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes in terms of time, cost & quality.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Lead the Lebanon based Manufacturing operation, developing & executing standardized work and Tritium’s Manufacturing Systems.
Provide visible & active leadership of day-to-day operations and direct activities of production supervisors so that approved products are manufactured on-schedule, in the right sequence, and within quality standards/cost objectives.
Drive the Manufacturing team to achieve established targets for Safety, Quality, People Development.
Manage the ‘delivery’ and ‘cost’ side of the Manufacturing business; monitor these metrics and Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s) to focus improvement activities.
Hire, train, coach, and develop the Production team, including use of Tritium performance management system.
Track and maintain maximum utilization of all allocated resources including personnel, equipment, material, and other expenses.
Conduct interviewing, hiring, training & mentoring as required.
Lead the implementation & continued adherence to lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
Assess and analyses current best practices and continually drive improvements with the ambition of creating a World Class manufacturing environment.
Partner and Coordinate with HR, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal departments to resolve issues and concerns.
The champion for change; assisting with Tritium’s cultural shift towards a Lean Manufacturing business.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or other Manufacturing related discipline.
5+ years’ experience working in high output manufacturing environment.
5+ years’ experience problem solving using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA’s.
5+ years’ experience leading CI (continuous Improvement) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc.
