Seasonal Program Specialist (Lead) - Camp Gallahue
Position at Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
Responsibilities
Reports to Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director.
Direct and supervise staff to coordinate program activities consistent with Girl Scout standards.
Plan and schedule activities reflecting the Girl Scout program in collaboration with camp director.
Serve as consultant for Program Leaders and Unit Leaders on program ideas within units.
Act as ambassador for camp visitors and parents.
Help handle camper emergencies with camp director and assistant camp director.
Create after‑care programming for after‑care campers.
Deliver Girl Scout program to units and girls, conduct program planning and delivery.
Assist kitchen staff when not facilitating program activity/planning.
Keep records and make reports as required.
Follow camp rules and regulations.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
First Aid/AED certified.
Lifeguard certified.
Student Air Rifle program certified.
Archery certified.
At least one season of experience in administration or supervisory roles.
Strong ability to select, train, and supervise staff.
Ability to adapt to changes.
Ability to direct others in crisis situations.
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Ability to develop a positive relationship with the public.
Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
