Role Description
Full-time Sous Chef position located on-site at Pilora's Cafe, Oshkosh, WI. The Sous Chef will assist in daily kitchen operations, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized working environment, and ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, overseeing kitchen staff, and contributing to menu planning and execution. The role requires providing support to the Head Chef and taking the lead in their absence.
Qualifications
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
Experience with kitchen operations, inventory management, and team oversight
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
Passion for culinary arts and creating high-quality dining experiences
Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus
