Purpose Primary Care Sales Consultant (SC) is accountable for implementing sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal product lines and an upcoming menopause launch.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Build and develop professional relationships with primary care providers and pharmacy staff within assigned customers.
Arrange the appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products and collaborate with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs.
Leverage expertise in the diabetes and menopause marketplace to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges.
Provide actionable insights to commercial colleagues, including sales leadership and regional account managers, in strategic and tactical planning for the territory.
Develop and implement customer‑specific business plans and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
Prioritize time and effort to maximise appropriate physician specialist coverage based on opportunity and potential.
Fully understand assigned customers’ product and business needs and meet those needs while adhering to Bayer ethics and compliance standards.
Anticipate barriers to achieving goals and propose solutions.
Handle customer objections effectively, exceeding expectations, and occasionally train others in the region.
Leverage emerging technologies to boost performance, continuously improving proficiency.
Obtain and maintain compliance with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations and uphold high ethical standards in all daily work.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience.
Proven track record of high performance in a sales role or comparable experience.
Track record of developing long‑standing customer relationships.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership and ethical behavior.
Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (preferred).
5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience in competitive markets.
In‑depth knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes or menopause disease states.
Product launch experience.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Virtual sales experience.
Local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $120,960.00 and $181,440.00. Additional compensation may include bonus or commission (if applicable geste). Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
