Summary The Quality Control Inspector conducts thorough vehicle inspections to maintain quality standards, auditing GLOVIS services such as body coat applications, vehicle processing, PIO part installations, load line processes, export processes, body shop repairs, and rail loading.

Responsibilities

Perform new vehicle audits

Audit the quality of all GLOVIS services and detect minor vehicle issues

Inspect cars using GPQMS Audit App, specialized camera, and/or check sheets

Document inspection results, take photographs of non‑conforming items, and record results truthfully

Alert supervisors/manager of quality concerns immediately

Provide feedback to resolve compliance issues

Audit employee compliance with standardized procedures, bulletins, and work instructions

Assist with creating and monitoring corrective actions and countermeasures

Provide input on correcting known issues across departments

Assist with development of audit strategies

Assist with training of new staff on quality inspections

Assist with development and implementation of audit strategies, policies, and procedures

Communicate status of unresolved quality issues

Alert supervisors/manager of quality concerns found during inspections immediately

Notify supervisors/manager if units flagged for defects are not repaired in a timely mannerpow

Other duties as assigned

Fill in for Tier 1 & 2 positions as needed

Education & Experience

Must have a valid Driver's License

1 year of Quality Control/Inspection experience (Preferred)
