We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:**CC018300 Plant Engineering**Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Utilizes knowledge, which enables to work from blueprints and writing diagrams to accomplish correct installations and repairs in compliance with N.E.C and other regulations.* Diagnoses and locates electric trouble efficiently and repair in a cost effective manner.* Maintains safe working environment by storing all tools and equipment properly.* Leaves work areas clean with all electrical safety precautions taken care of.* Completes maintenance logs and maintenance books up to date.* Carries out daily routine tasks of checking pneumatic tube system throughout hospital.* Performs monthly test on emergency power throughout the Medical Center.* Maintains familiarity with operating manuals and limitations of electrical systems to be worked on.* Utilizes knowledge of and applies the National Electric Code and other codes pertaining to his trade.* Turns in daily activity of each day including an accurate account of all required information involved with his tasks.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification
+ Possession of a valid Florida Driver License with no more than 4 points. (Electrician License must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer)* ### Education
+ Prefer graduate of a formal school or programs* ### Experience
+ 5 years experience required.
