Join Our Team as a Locum Physician OB Hospitalist in Houston, TX
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB Hospitalist to provide exceptional care on a locum basis. Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Texas
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an OB Hospitalist or in obstetric inpatient care
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in high-acuity obstetric cases
- familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Multilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Prior locum or hospital-based OB practice experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.)
- Willingness to travel if necessary
- Compliance with all hospital policies, licensing, and credentialing requirements
- Current ACLS certification preferred
