*Responsibilities*
* Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve functional abilities. * Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist, ensuring adherence to care plans. * Provide therapy services in various settings including geriatrics, pediatrics, inpatient, and outpatient environments. * Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support effective patient care and rehabilitation strategies. * Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using medical terminology and imaging as required. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care. * Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and techniques to enhance recovery at home. * Maintain a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions while adhering to all safety protocols.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or clinic setting is preferred. * Familiarity with home health services and acute care environments is advantageous. * Strong understanding of occupational health principles, medical imaging, and geriatric/pediatric care is beneficial. * Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations while demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions. * Knowledge of care plan development and implementation is essential for success in this role.
