About the Role
The Company is seeking a Campus Dean for its BSN Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation, and evaluation of nursing program activities. This includes managing the program budget, faculty and staff, clinical site liaison, curriculum development, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves serving as a student advocate, overseeing program policies and procedures, and maintaining educational partnerships with clinical sites. The Campus Dean will be actively involved in faculty recruitment, and training, and will participate in conflict resolution, and strategic planning to ensure the quality of instruction and student success.
Applicants for the Campus Dean position must have a completed MSN and DNP, with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role managing a BSN nursing program. A current RN license is a plus, and a master's or higher degree from an accredited institution with coursework in nursing, education, or administration is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs, and at least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care. Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity are essential. The role demands the ability to work effectively with a variety of people and institutions, a collaborative leadership style, and experience in supervision, planning, and budget management.
